T-shirts for human rights

17 October 2018

BH Fashion Studio, founded by Italian fashion designer Alessia Bighi, has recently launched the Beating Hearts Collection, dedicated to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). Twenty per cent of the proceeds from T-shirt sales will go to the UN Human Rights Office.

The T-shirt collection, in limited edition, includes 30 designs, one for each article of the UDHR. For example, the T-shirt for article 1 -'All human beings are born free and equal'- features wings as a symbol of freedom, and the design for article 13 - 'Freedom of movement' – includes a green map of the world. The collection is completed with a T-shirt which features the entire UDHR to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the UDHR.

The T-shirts are ethically made using 100% organic cotton and sweatshop free. They are available for both men and women, combine a trendy style with a powerful message: every person is a spokesperson for rights in his/her everyday life. It's about human rights as a lifestyle.

BH Fashion Studio is a socially aware fashion label which aims at spreading the knowledge of human rights and raising awareness among ourselves and others through clothing design.
